Have no interest in it, what can I tell you mate.

I mean, I'm not talking ****, but I have no interest in watching a Fedor setup, and I'm not into pro wrestling. I would have liked to see a couple of those guys actually fight, I probably would have watched it if Barnett was in a half-decent legit match. But as it stands, no. :conf

So you aren't into K1 or willing to give it any time?

Or potentially good MMA matches (as most of the card was indeed made up of; the wrestling **** was minimal) that just happen to feature Japanese fighters who are "obscure" in that they don't appear on UFC or Strikeforce?

I stayed up through the whole thing live, which is no easy task considering I was pounding back hard liquor throughout the night. Schiavello and Kogan did a good job of keeping me entertained, Jesus Inoki being attacked by Terrorists had me laughing my ass off. I enjoyed all of the mma matches, LOVED the k1 matches (kickboxing is sort of my thing), Noiri and Kubo are two of the brightest prospects in the entire sport, and it was great to see them shine. Kubo looked like he is maturing and I would like to see him take on some Euro competition in 2012.

Its a shame so many people neglect kickboxing. K1 Grand Prixs (8 man one night tournament) are no doubt the most enjoyable events in all of combat sports.

I like a good K1 fight, definately. But I'm not familiar with the participants on this card, and I still have plenty of old fights to catch up on. This week I watched a couple of cards with BJ Penn fights on them, because I'd only ever seen him against Hughes and Penn.

It was only a fight or two away from me probably looking to download it, but as I said, I have a large enough backlog of fights to watch that there are plenty of cards I haven't seen that excite me more than this one.

Again, I'm not talking **** on the card or on anyone who enjoyed it. There were some good names on it and I certainly wasn't too far off watching it. But it didn't catch my interest enough to download the massive file, and I don't believe I had the option to watch it legally. :conf

I fell asleep so I didn't watch it live but I watched it later and thought it was awesome. I love the mix of different rules type matches. I really dug seeing Sakuraba as a pro-wrestler for the first time. Quality wise I thought it was a Pride worthy event and did it's part to show that JMMA was still alive and kicking.

That was entertaining. Bit ****ed up with the rules as really in round 1 they shouldn't of been wearing those gloves.

Nagashima is more of a pro wrestler these days. He loves it!!

The le banner v Sylvia match wasn't really pro wrestling but more of a worked fight. Unfair to call it pro wrestling. JLB def nailed him with some stiff shots and they did probably the best they could do with one guy wearing boxing gloves.

The sakuraba tag match was strange. There was literally no cooperation between the two teams. reminded me of the njpw v uwfi matches from the 90' where basically the only thing planned was the finish.

If u noticed the other team rarely moved away from the ropes as if they were concerned saku and shibata would "shoot". Whenever sakuraba put on a submission they were close to the ropes. Sawada def tried to stiff sakuraba at the beginning and sakuraba nailed him with a brutal kick to the face.

Sawada's reaction at the end was all real. He was fuming and I think its cos he wasn't supposed to take the fall. Also sakuraba held the choke in for ages.

I would be booking sawada v sakuraba as there is some heat there.

I liked it..... Unlike many on this and other boards..I know there is life in MMA outside of the UFC.

***gis doesn't watch fights. He just offers an opinion. After all that's all his good for. And anyone that could sit through 9 hours of that is a Trojan. I had to watch that over the course of a few days! Dam shame Barnett didn't throw a chair at Schiavello's head :yep

I downloaded the 720p version. 18gb of goodness!!

I couldnt believe it when one of the commentators called the Indians 'terrrorists'.

If someone did that over here in the UK they would be sacked and have no more tv career.
