Just turned pro Nigel Benn vs an old Tony Sibson. It´s mentioned in Sibson excellent biography that Benn tried to take some liberties but the powerful Sibbo put him in his place.

A young Errol Spence putting a prime Broner (when he was in full dickhead mode), all over the shop with a well timed counter. Apparently he was kayoed while still standing up and sparring was rightly stopped immediately.

 

Although we got the first fight a little late there was sparring session between GGG and Canelo that was meant to have been really good.

 

Apparently Groves also dropped GGG in Big Bear just after Froch 1. Not at the same session as the broken ribs one though.

 

I’m sure it was a Groves interview with Bunce where I read it. He played it down as it was sparring, but it was reported.
