Seriously, I don't think I ever strive to point out every flaw.

Look at it this way, if we all just wrote that Dempsey is great we'd have nothing to really write together about regarding Dempsey. The same is true of other boxers.

 

I do find Dempsey's inactivity as champion disturbing, and as far as I know it was something he chose. Ali was inactive for about the same amount of time and he came back a different, less physically gifted fighter, but he still KO'd Foreman, but Dempsey lost twice to Tunney. Is Tunney better than Foreman was, after what he did Frazier and Norton?
