A little bit of both for me. Mayweather obviously saw something in Pacquiao that he wasn't comfortable with and because of his insecurity he's asking Pac to give blood. To me his motive is childish because it's not really about cleaning the sport.

The only fight that Mosley took steroids was against Oscar and he didn't look better with them, in fact he looked worse. You also say that asking for blood makes more sense than saying a tea spoon of blood weakens some people? Well I'll be the first to tell you that I understand Pacquiao because it happens to me. It honestly irritates me that people feel free to talk about what other people feel without knowing **** about them. Maybe the blood taken out doesn't affect you but it could affect other people. We are all different.

I remember when I used to ask nurses when they took blood from me if I could work out because I felt weird. They said yes, but the truth is I felt different and I usually don't work out when blood is taken out. Maybe it's psychological but it has an effect, and considering Mayweathers true motives for asking for the tests I don't think he demands should be met if Pac is not comfortable.

It's understandable that blood might weaken you...However, I highly doubt that you'll still feel weak 14 days after having blood drawn...

No the problem would occur if it was on a training day. Every day counts, especially if you're fighting at the level this guys are.

They don't even test you until you're done training.

    yes, he can

he can say "i won't fight anyone who won't get tested"

and guess what, he will have a long line of people willing to get tested for the chance to fight him, because he gets his opponents recognition and $

if pac bitches out (again) there will be plenty willing to step in

    Headgear? Not the rules? Duh

    Neither is steroids

If you get caught for steroids, you get suspended, right? The **** testing is just inadequate to detect anything though. What's wrong with upping it up a bit?

But that doesn't prove anything. Right now I'm starting to think that if this is well regulated it could even be made with the tests if Pacquiao is willing to let go some of his demands.

On the other hand I still think it's silly for Floyd to be asking for the tests as it doesn't show much confidence (even though he is a confident person). People say Pac is risking a multimillion dollar payday by not taking the tests, but Floyd is risking the same thing by adding rules because he doesn't feel completely sure of himself if he doesn't have a mental advantage over Pac.

it shows plenty of confidence in the fact that he is in position to make demands

Well being that most of boxing's Champions are from other countries,
They really don't care about the country where boxing is dying.Nevada
is just making it to where less promoters and casino's want to promote
    boxing .

I'm all for the tests, and not because of Floyd. It's because when someone is getting paid $20-40 million, I say we make him do a little more work than normal. I am paying to watch him fight so I really want to be highly ensured that both him and his opponent is clean so that I know I'm getting a fair fight for my very hard-earned money.

Are you serious? I guess perception is a truly powerful tool.

Making Pacquiao take bloodtests and risking the biggest payday of his life does not blend well with the "Money" Mayweather image if it's really all about money. If he really was confident he wouldn't need any reassurence on Pacquiao because he's better than the best Pacquiao we've ever seen in the ring. But apparently he doesn't feel that way.
