Drozd - Makabu is official, poll added

Lebedev definately slowed down since their last fight, while Huck has looked pretty damn good.

I'm pretty sure Huck left his promotional company and is kind of in limbo right now. LSt I heard, he's trying to fight Roy Jones on phc

 

Huck is actually considering that fight?

 

I didnt see Makabu - Mchunu fight, but i heard Thabiso gassed badly and thats the main reason why he got kayod. Drozd is probably the most skilled fighter in this division and he got much better power and stamina than Mchunu. I am picking Drozd.

 

Lol, i understand, you are a Hercegovac and its ok for you to be a bit biased, but you comment about Huck looking good recently is insane:

He looked horrible against 42 yo Arslan, couldnt KO Largetti (who the **** is Largetti?), looked mediocre againt Ofolabi...

 

Hopefully we also get Kudryashov and Bivol on the card.

Finally! Great fight indeed.

 

Unifications would be great but this is about as quality a fight as could be made and Makabu likely is top 5. Since Huck/YPH and Drozd/Lebedev are with the same promoters it won't happen immediately.

Fortunately Ramirez will dethrone YPH soon enough and Huck should be out of the picture (HW?) by the time Usyk (rated #3) becomes his mandatory. Huck's nest fight is against #1 Glowacki which is not a gimme especially if it happens outside Germany.

Drodz is better than Mchunu. And Drodz won't gas starting from the 7th.

He's never really showed a big shortage of a mandible. He'll be fine.
