Dan Rafael's fat ass is a brit? Hmm. I didn't know that. That was just a coincidence. Don't get all nationalistic, especially when it has nothing to do with anything.

Is this a joke with Matthew Hatton? He could have fought Mathew in his comeback tuneup fight 2 months before taking JMM but at this point it sounds like a joke.

I like the OP's list for the most part. I'll add a couple things.

Nehomar Cermeno VS Joseph Agbeko on the undercard of an important fight. Cermeno deserves the exposure, and we, as hard core boxing fans, deserve to watch this cat do his thing.

3 fights for Pavlik in 2012; Williams, Sturm, Macklin.

I agree about a Cotto come back.

I don't care about Floyd or his financial equity. He doesn't owe me any fight and I don't owe him my attention, appreciation or PPV money. To me, he's already had his career. He went 39-0-0, picking up titles in five weight classes and then retired. It was great but he's not in it for any further respect, or his legacy. When will people see he just doesn't care? He's a businessman who uses his talent to earn maximum money for minimum risk, not a guy on a mission to prove something.

He will fight Mathew Hatton if he thinks he can make money without risking his 0. Obviously the latter part is clear, because Matt Hatton isn't taking Floyd's 0 anymore than Malignaggi would put Pacman to sleep in the first round. But, screw it, I still don't think Mayweather/Pacquiao is a closed case. I've said it before. It'll take a million twists and turns but ultimately too much money is at stake. They'll fight. Maybe both of them will fight someone else first, but eventually this fight should get made in 2010. I think Floyd is confident he'll outbox Pacquiao. I don't think he's afraid of him and that's why he's demanding these tests. I think it's all for attention and hype and gamesmanship and it'll make the event even bigger with a more interesting story. We'll see.

Bernard Hopkins has the right to fight Ornelas, Pavlik the right to fight Espino, Pacquiao the right for Malignaggi, and if Floyd wants to, he can request exhumation and fight Corrales again for the much anticipated rematch GBP will say has been x years in the making. I don't care. I won't pay for it, but I've got old footage of Duran and Leonard I can dig out if I want to see something worth my time.

these yanks wet their pants when they saw how many british yobs flew over to see hatton mayweather fight and then pac.... ever since then Mayweather has been doing exclusive interviews with sky sports talking about how much he respects his 'friends' the hatton brothers..... its all about the British pound!!

i even heard oscar might be coming back to fight Ricky Hatton in Wembley cause they know he fills stadiums... also Floyd has a distorted view of his popularity in the UK... he went to train at a gym in East London and it was so full he couldn't move so now he's desperate to fight in the UK cause he thinks he's a superstar over here who's gonna get cheered into the ring in an easy fight where he can play with his opponent like a little baby.....

these guys are taking the public for idiots!!im going to watch ufc

That seems to be true. But then Floyd shouldn't be talking about how he is the greatest ever and compare himself with SRR etc.:good

You really think Floyd is gonna go after Berto / Mosley or Paul Williams? Floyd has gone on record talking about how he wants to fight in the UK.

I don't know who takes that seriously. It's like a 5-year-old saying "I'm the bestest ever at this game!" ...or is it more like a comedian that...ah, hell, I don't know. It's the guy's shtick. It's disrespectful but I doubt even he believes it. He's promoting himself and he knows it drums up interest...in seeing him defeated for the first time. If you can't make 'em root for you, make 'em root against you.
