Random drug testing all year round for anyone who has a boxing license!

Now people say that it would be too expensive...but random drug testing annually doesn't necessarily mean that every boxer will be tested once a year. If you put the threat of random drug testing in people's heads, it will not only put doubt in their mind just in case they were thinking about using illegal substances...but it will also catch a number of boxer's out.

Boxing should take notes from how athletics have implemented their drug tests. And if you fail to agree to said random drug tests, and fail to show, etc...3 strikes and your banned for a year.

In anything worth millions of pounds you are going to get people trying to bring corruption into it. When it is easyly possible to get away with cheating then you are definitly going to get people cheating. I read Holyfield's auto-biography and he mentions Tyson suspecting him but I can't remember anything about him taking a blood test. Holyfield was caught in a similar fasion to mosley recently though but nobody made a deal about it because he was past his prime but imo it's a good indicator that he was using them in his prime.
[ame]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evander_Holyfield[/ame] check this link under allegations of steroid and hgh use, sounds pretty convincing to me.

Schaefer, lol, how can that clown put on a serious face demanding Pac take random blood tests, with his stance on the Judah-Mosley testing highlighting his double standard.

GBP haven't even bothered to use such testing on any of their fighters or cards, to atleast give them some semblance of credibility on this issue. Probably can't afford to, what with JMM and his 4900 fans now being their biggest attraction

Double standards indeed. And talk about Mayweather cleaning the sport of boxing! HIS own personal OSDT blood testing mandate. NO OSDT blood testing performed in recent professional fights, just the urine testing as required by the state boxing commissions. (i.e., Martinez vs Williams, Pacquiao vs Margarito, Froch vs Abraham, Berto vs Hernandez, etc.) Because he imposed it on Pac, he has no choice but to impose it on all of his future fights. If not, it would clearly show he was ducking Pac. Who is following his lead. No one. All roads leads to Mayweather, YEAH RIGHT!:yep
