I'd watch it again, i think it's VERY hard to find 7 rounds to give Benevidez in that fight.

 

Of course you can justify it. It was a non title bout at a catchweight after 3 straight BRUTAL wars.

Do you want Danny to die in the ring? I really don't understand the hate this guy gets.

He's not the only boxer to have tuneups after a war, let's be realistic now.

 

I don't hate the guy, but there's tuneups and then there's Rod Salka.

 

Don't me wrong. I don't hate Danny but common...which champion fights a guy that isn't in the top 15? And as for Herrera, he lost. That's it.

i watched it already like 3 times, pitty patty shots and hits on the gloves should not count towards effective aggresion or ring generalship.. thats the criteria judges score on... benevidez was landing the cleaner harder shots and earned the victory in my eyes...it was very close.

 

That's it for you, but alot of people felt garcia won.... so thats not it, and if you cant debate boxing with fellow posters because you think your right all the time maybe you shouldnt post...:hi:
