After the Thrilla in Manilla, Ali fought Coopman who was hardly in the top 50 let alone top 15.

After the war and knockout lost to Marquez, Manny fought Brandon ****ing Rios at 147 after coming off a lost.

Mike Tyson after Douglas fought Tilman

 

Now...you find this acceptable as a boxing fan? You don't feel insulted? And you wonder now why this sport is sick?

 

Anyway...Rios tried to cherry pick Richard Abril and you saw what happened? Robbery.

Have you ever got in the ring? These men risk their lives each time they get in the ring. A brutal war takes A LOT out of you and sometimes can take years out of your prime.

 

Yes. Just did some boxing for a couple of months to know what was these giys were living and I tell you what, I respect these guys a LOT. And sorry..you won't convinced me that this is normal. This is a professional sport, not a joke.

No. Not at all. When you try to comeback from a loss to to try to build a name, I agree but at this stage of his career, you cannot expect that. Like I've said, I'm a boxing junkie but no wonder why this sport is slowly dying...because of fan like you that accept this situation.

 

so your saying everyone has top 20-30 wins on their record starting from their debut to their retirement? look at every fighters resume in the sport of boxing, and you'll find that everyone has no names to bums with more losses then wins on their resume....everyone.... you cannot continue to fight the best all the time, its just not possible without moving up in weight and taking on bigger challenges.... thats growth and thats how boxing works.... not everyone is like loma now..atsch

You did a couple months of boxing? Congratulations, you are now as qualified to fight Danny Garcia as Rod Salka was.

Come on, guys, I doubt 'Boxing Prospect' knew who Salka was before the fight was announced. And he knows about the new 64 lb, one legged, pigmy brawler who has a chance to become the best young fighter Papa New Guinea has produced in recent memory.

I'm only joking but it's insulting to compare Rios to Salka. I was EXTREMELY disappointed when Pac chose to fight Rios but if Rios were to fight Salka he would make Salka look like...Salka
