ajagba is terrible, stiff as a board. The only good prospects in America are sanchez faure and jared anderson
Ajagba needs the late great Curtis Cokes to teach him to box like he did Ike Ibeabuchi Although I dont think Ajagba is anywhere near as good. But there again look how stiff & robotic the Klitschko Bros were They did OK
Ajagba is clearly a work in progress, after his last fight he admitted that he'll need 2 more years before he's ready to fight for a title, but he has beaten better opponens than Dubois. He has beaten the then unbeaten Ali Eren Demirezen, a fellow Olympian who is 1-1 vs Joe Joyce in the amateur ranks (the fight that was won by Joyce could have gone either way), and has a stoppage win over Yoka in World Series of Boxing. He has also beaten Jonathan Rice, who gave Yoka hell in his 2nd pro fight (Yoka was hurt and was running and holding for dear life, that fight could have gone either way), who came in in great shape (around 18 pounds leaner than usual). That was also Ajagba's first fight after the covid break and under his new coach. Dubois is a bit of a victim of typical Warren matchmaking, let them beat some scrubs and 1 or 2 British level opponents, them throw them right into a final eliminator or a title fight.
Ajagba is even worse than Dubois if I'm honest. He looks the part physically and has power but like Dubois has no head movement and is predictable like Dubois as everything starts off with a jab which is why he's so open to right hands as we've seen in recent fights. He's also as slow as Joyce, infact if you combined the worst attributes of both Joyce and Dubois you'd still have a better fighter than Ajagba.
