    Ok ,now make a comp showing all the clean punches landed to face and head.

    Its up to Hrgovic to protect his own head. Control the distance , step back , step to the side. Use head control. This is the fight game. A punch can cause a cut as much as a head.

    Dubois did what he had to do to overcome the size and reach disadvantage. He got rough on the inside. Its not the first time Hrgovic shut off mentally when the going gets tough.
    He left himself open constantly. Squared up. No head or body movement. Those are the mistake he made that allowed Doubis barge his way in.

    Miller went further against Dubois in a very physical fight and didn't suffer open wounds from head butts. Hrgovic's tendency to mentally switch off in battle caused his loss.

    One thing's for sure if the response to someone using their head as a battering ram was to bite part of that billy goat's ear off we wouldn't see many headbutts in the sport at all :lol:

    Yes, even if you want to pretend the blatant butts weren't intentional and the reckless use of his head wasn't intentional the point is the fight was stopped due to the cuts which were obviously caused by the butts and head clashes which leaves three options for the ref not four

    The fights goes to the scorecards

    The ref deducts points from Dubois and the fight goes to the scorecards

    The ref DQ's Dubois

    It doesn't matter if Dubois was in the ascendency and might have legitimately stopped Hrgovic 1, 2, or 3 rounds etc. later

    And if the fight going to the scorecards did end up costing Dubois the W well that's on him for blatantly nutting Hrgovic a bunch of times and coming in very recklessly with his head all night which resulted in loads of head clashes

    Unlike Ward who was always a fake ''nice guy,'' Dubois is actually a very nice lad but, again, the fight was waved off because of the cuts and it should've gone to the cards.

    The ref should've been warning Dubois repeatedly during the fight for the butts and reckless use of the head and deducted points from him for doing so and when he did decide to wave it off after consulting the ringside physician he should've factored in all the butts and head clashes, especially given the obscene amount of them, not ignored the fact that there were that many butts and head clashes :facepalm:

    sometimes its the name of the game. The ref wasnt catching it, it was being allowed

    Hrgovic should have done the same thing. Its a fight. . nobody to save you but yourself
