They’d all demolish this guy he’s fighting next though.

I can’t understand the Gorman fight if he’s going to face such dross in the aftermath. Yes he’s young, but I don’t know why he’d step up a level only to step down another five.

Dubois Gorman reminded me of Groves Degale to an extent. And look at what Groves did. Beat Degale in his thirteenth fight as a 23 year old, beat Paul Smith next fight and two after that fought Glen Johnson. Dubois is only a year younger than Groves was when he fought Degale and has had just as many fights.

Duhaupas and Washington both have some good wins since there losses so either of those are ideal

    Teper stopped once
    Kuzmin never stopped
    Szpilka went 9 with Wilder
Duhaupas went 12 withMiller,11 with Wilder,6 with Povetkin.
We are talking about a 22 year old with just 13 fights.

As I said, Duhaupas and Kuzmin would be the only 2 to offer any sort of resistance from that list. Teper is dreadful after drugs and his most recent fight with a shot to bits Helenius was embarrassing to watch (for both of them). Szpilka has a chin as bad as Price and would get knocked out in 2 max. Washington (who was mentioned above) is featherfisted and doesn't like getting hit not to mention that he's a converted Gridiron player who only took the sport up at 30.

I get that these guys have name recognition, but seriously, the 2019/2020 versions of some of these guys mentioned is not something you want to see with someone like Dubois. Yes Fujimoto won't offer a lot, but these other guys mentioned won't do any better and will cost a lot more to drag over.

Guys with less flattering records like Jonathan Rice and Rydell Booker would give Dubois better workouts.

He needs rounds so you want to put him in with Szpilka? He gets regularly KOd by stiff breezes

Eh? Both have been knocked out several times since the Wilder fight and only managed a K O win over old man Helenius who.is a perpetual K O victim himself these days

Even a rematch with Kevin Johnson be better than this dude. At least Dubois would get some rounds.

A pointless festive fight from Fwank.

Szpilka has 4 stoppage losses 3 in the last 3 years, to top 12 rated men Chisora,Kownacki,Wilder ,the other to Bryant Jennings.

    Washington is rated 18th
    Duhaupas is rated 29th
    Fujimoto is rated 94th
    Lartey was rated 254th

I don’t see a problem with the first two I mentioned next for ddd

Boxrec rankings are a joke outside of the top 10. Duhaupas is durable but offers nothing else. Washington is all wrong for Dubois and will get sparked out early. He has no power and a weak chin just like Fujimoto.

Saying ‘Duhaupas is durable but offers nothing else’ doesn’t add to your argument by the way. The entire argument being that Dubois needs durable opponents to give him rounds and challenge him in that regard. Something which he’ll patently not get here.

Yeah, hence why I said earlier that out of the bunch of names mentioned, only he and Kuzmin would be worth bringing over for Dubois with the amount of money it would cost to get these guys over.

I know Fujimoto is a crap opponent, he's feasted on Australian journeymen for most of his career, but a lot of those other names would do no better than Fujimoto, Kuzmin and Duhaupas excluded as I stated earlier.

Well, we already know how this plays out.

Hopefully after this we'll see Dubois in meaningful fights where he'll break a sweat and learn something about himself. Not sure exact what fights like this do for his development...
