I agree. One of the guys he lost to was dropped and beaten by a guy who never, not even on his best day, made the top ten ratings...... and his best day was ten years ago or so

He's got Usyk's hand-me-down belt, to keep warm. Vacated forcefully, not wrestled off of a sitting champion. I'm no Fury fan, but his only loss is to the #1, a long reigning champ, he's ahead of Dubois who just won his first championship fight.... Context matters, more than just "he has belt lol"

Dude he has dismantled Joshua worse than Ruiz, outboxed and ouclassed a whale like Miller, has retired from the fight Hrgovic and would smash Wilder in 3 rounds. The only doubt I have is if he manages to beat Zhang.

For what I have seen now he largely deserves the 2nd place.

Any other fight/ref would have stopped that fight, Fury could actually have been stopped 2x so far in his career. Don’t get me wrong, it was the right decision to let Wilder 1 and Usyk 1 continue but he could have been legit stopped in both.

But he wasn't stopped, so it's irrelevant.

He was also stopped by Joyce and Usyk, whereas Fury has never been stopped.

That doesn't erase the losses, especially the Usyk loss being fairly recent and Fury clearly outperforming him even in defeat.

It kinda is relevant, it’s just a matter of time before Fury doesn’t get back up from being knocked down. Sure, Wilder and Ngannou have massive power but Usyk do not and Fury was out on his feet in their fight. Fury still recovers well but I’m not sure how long it’ll last.

Same can be said for any fighter though, and to date Fury has recovered rather well from every major punch he has taken to date. Dwelling on how he "could" have been stopped when he hasn't isn't really relevant imo. He's got a solid chin and excellent recovery ability even in his twilight years.

Yes, I agree but if DD comes out guns blazing like he did against AJ Fury might not survive. Idk we see how Fury looks in the next fight with Usyk, as of now it’s up in the air if DD or Fury is number 3.

Yea he is 3rd. There really shouldn't be any debate about it. The top 3 is very clear, and a whole mess behind them.
    Usyk
    Fury
    Dubois

Hes the 2nd best title holder and he even has a fringe lineal case with the whole foul thing.
