He's probably not too distraught since he's received much more positivity from fellow fighters , managers , promoters , fans and even from Joe Joyce's own team.

His only regret is probably not quitting sooner because that fight was over before the 10th round.

 

If DD was more experienced like Wilder he could have said he only lost cos there wasn't enough grease on his face.

Andy Lee says the culture needs to change in boxing. UFC guys quit every week when they tap-out so he doesn't even consider it a quit job.

Frank says DD has a fracture on the orbital floor as well. This means he will very likely have a titanium plate inserted so his eyeball doesn't drop over time.
Its also possible his eye will go again fairly easily in future fights. Don't know what Ant is going on about. Most in the boxing world think he done the right thing by saving his career
