Yeah I think WBO is next in rotation as Usyk's mandatory so the winner should get the fight if their isn't a unification with Dubois. But the IBF or Turki might get in the way of this.
Usyk can fight who he wants and yes no doubt Daniel will be next, but if parker deserves a shot if he wins One thing about usyk, he will fight whoever they put in front of him, that is one thing you guys are spot on with
I wasn't disputing it I just genuinely don't know how this late change of opponent will effect things regarding his mandatory obligations. I don't think Dubois deserves the next crack at Usyk, especially after this even though it's not his fault if he's genuinely ill which I'm sure he is Definitely but it's the one thing I would prefer to be wrong about given his age, decline, and the fact he's fighting way outside his natural weight against these giants
Honestly I think the biggest factor is what Turki wants to see. If he wants to see Dubois vs Usyk again, thats what he will put together, if instead he wants Usyk vs Winner of Parker vs Bakole, then thats what will happen. If he is annoyed at Dubois, Dubois may find himself without a fight, or at least a Saudi fight for a while.
True but they still might strip Usyk of one of his belts if he doesn't defend against one of his mandatories, especially within a certain timeframe. If J-Park wins he deserves the next shot at Usyk.
Parker quit vs Joshua when he decided not to try to win anymore and instead just see the fight out and lose on the scorecards.
I was picking Parker to beat Dubois, Bakole is a different kind of animal, but still a winnable fight for Parker if he can avoid getting dragged into a fire fight.
Just watched a recent video of Dubois, a short clip of winner stays on. To be fair he doesn't sound good
Somehow I am getting visions of Bakole winning, and Dubois getting stripped of the IBF belt. Then Bakole and Joshua fighting for that belt because Joshua vs Bakole was in the talks already. Naughty naughty Eddie Hearn.
