They should also ask Warren why McCann vs Baluta was stopped mid-way during round 9 when Baluta was on the verge of stopping McCann. They should then ask him about the debacle of the scorecards, how 2 judegs scored round 9 10-10, and then why Dev Sahni was overseeing the inspector counting up the scorecards, and why there were 2 sheets of scorecards rather than just 1 - is that common practice ?
That pic changes my opinion. It looks low enough to at least clip Usyk’s righticle. The narrator on the video speaks sense too. I think that’s low now, I change my opinion on the deserved rematch.
From what I have seen some angles make the shot look lower than others. I still think it was low, but my point is that it was not clear-cut and definitely not a "robbery" like Dubois' team and the TNT punditry crew made out. The shot made Usyk angry and the way he stopped Dubois was brutal. I am 100% certain that Usyk would have knocked Dubois out cold if the fight continued after the referee stopped the fight.
We all could of guessed what was coming. Dubois team trying to keep him relevant. The ref called it a low blow, and was well positioned. I personally believe Usyk would of got up had he been counted. The result would of been the same imo.
Arranging an interview with Talksport to cry, days after the fight is embarassing. Con Charles just needs to shut the fack up. If the ref called it a low blow, Usyk is entitled to take 5 mins. Regardless of whether it was a low blow or not, the ref makes the final decision. If the ref didn't call it a lowblow and called it a knockdown instead, Usyk would have got up no problem and carried on pinging this nobody around the ring. Con Charles admitted that Dubois should have stuck it on him and when questioned why Dubois waited until the 9 count to get up, both of the berks couldn't give a straight answer. Embarassing that this has made so much headlines. He's British level. No more. On to Frank. He has got a bee in his bonnet with team Usyk due to the Fury stuff. He's got in it for them due to that and he's using Dubois to try and get one up on them. And Dubois, if ever there was someone that hasnt become his own man yet and needs other people to tell him what to say and think, he is it.
That's what makes this whole thing ridiculous. The fact that opinion is very much split on whether the shot was low or not should tell team Dubois that it was no robbery. To call out a ref who gets to see the shot land once and then has to make a decision as doing something wrong is a liberty.
Either way you cut it, DDD jacked again, rising at 9 and whatever seconds knowing full well the ref would stop it, shame cos he has all the physical attributes really Usyk milked it, but would have started to rise if there was a count imo, and was as skilled as usual But he definitely doesn't liked to be worked to the body
move on from Kneelbois pal, he’s a lemon maybe you can get behind Moses Itauma the new Mike Tyson instead
Moved on the same night and behind Tyson Luke Fury, promoted by Queensbury and live on BT Sports Box Office.
Dubois fights like his personality unfortunately. Shy and timid. He ain't a fighter, he's a big lump who can box a bit but he just doesn't have it. I saw del boys rant about dubois calling him a *****...it must be frustrating for guys like chisora who aren't blessed with the size and physical attributes some of these fighters have to watch them throw it away through lack of nuts.
The ref, who was well positioned, called it a low blow. Protocol was followed. Usyk won the fight. Paul Smith gives a good insight into reactions to body shots, and his take on the whole saga. It’s worth listening to on YouTube, and gives a good breakdown based on experience.
Dubois benefitted from some properly dodgy officiating Vs Lerana. They literally rang the bell 10 seconds early to save his ass in one round lol. Then the ref waved it off first chance he got. Dubois and Frank need to be reminded of this next time they start crying. I hate hypocrisy.
