I still cant get my head round there being an argument weather it was low or not. It was a low shot end of story. I dont think usyk milked it either....he was badly hurt. I think the only real argument dubois can make is that shots been allowed in other fights. Thats the refs mistake tho....no one should be getting punched underneath the belly button in a boxing ring.
This content is protected Lol. I remember when it happened live a lot of the Queensberry fanboys were so sure that it was a legal shot. Umar from IFL was embarrassing that night.
Still think Usyk milked it a bit but he knows the rules and had every right. Suspect Fury will have his game plan worked out now though.
I don't agree Jim - the only things we know from the fight are that Dubois had Usyk in trouble but then got stopped. We'll never know if either Usyk would have survived an 8-count for the "low blow" or whether Dubois would have finished him off. If it wasn't for a title or have the queue of mandatories and unification in the way, it'd be an easy rematch to make.
Now, now Jim, to be a champion you have to have certain ingredients which DDD clearly does not have. However we all agree that Uysk milked it, but the rules state that 5 minutes rest is allowed. In your eyes Joe Joyce was the second coming of Big George Foreman my good man .
also sonny im no getting in to back and forth with you i know your just having a laff but i would pick joyce to beat foreman as he is much bigger and tougher than him he does everything foreman did and more different era
You are one of my faves on here Jim so no back and forth is good and you know me too well as I am being a wind up .
I have just reread this and I am happy to give my opinion here, that even though he was way before my time watching boxing Foreman was super, super tough.
