plenty of judges and referees needed to be handed their P45.

I think your mis reading my point. I haven't said who was winning what rounds. I merely stated that the better shots was landed by Dubois. If you disagree then there's nothing more to talk about.

I had it even up to the 6th but after that it was all Joyce. I can understand people having the fight close, maybe Dubois a round behind as the thing with Joyce's defensive style of rolling with shots and blocking shots with gloves and shoulders some shots can look like they land clean when in fact they are blocked, half blocked or don't even land at all.

Latham's scorecard was ridiculous he only gave Joyce 2 rounds and even gave the 8th to Dubois a round where he only landed one lackluster right hand at the end of the round and spent the rest of the round eating jabs as well as a hard right hand about a minute into the round. Only way Latham could of given that to Dubois is if he counted all the blocked shots and the 2 low blows as legal scoring shots.

That's it,, Dubois was viewed as the guy where the most money could be made. That's why Jacobs got the nod last week.

Dubois didn`t throw nearly enough shots he spent most of the fight just standing in front of Joyce looking confused.

It’s not like Joyce threw a wide array of shots either. He fought his fight and eventually stopped DuBois so credit to him. Neither fighter looked particularly impressive in what was a close fight at the stoppage.

This is a good example of the limitations of compubox

JJ was in complete control of the fight from the 6th onwards. Very little landed flush on JJ as he was rolling the shots. Dubois was eating JJs jab flush.

Dubois punched himself out on front foot raids and would have been stopped anyway regardless of the eye injury. He was getting knocked spark out in the 10th as he was exhausted- he took the knee instead.

    Yep totally agree.

They had Dubois out landing Joyce in the 8th which is ludicrous. While it was a round where Dubois threw a lot, his 2nd most active round, he basically landed one good right hand the entire round, rest of the shots were blocked, slipped or didn't land cleanly as Joyce rolled with the shots.
