It’s such a hard one to choose for me. No idea about Gorman’s chin, don’t think Dubois is as good a boxer as Gorman but certainly excels in the power department. I’m gona put my neck on the line and say I see this going the same as Joshua vs Ruiz and Gorman take him out late as Dubois tires. Gorman KO10.
I think Dubois will come from behind to get him out in the later rounds. I’m really looking forward to it either way - credit to both fighters.
Dubois. Dubois took flush punches from lartey and showed tremendous fighting spirit. He showed that he’s prepared to slug it out. I’m high on Gorman but I feel Dubois’ resilience has been tested more than Big Nathan’s. It’s a genuine 50/50 though.
Don’t know much about either of these kids but I’ll be brushing up on the back catalogue this week to give a technical breakdown Seems common consensus on here at least this is a pick em well the bookies are offering 7/4 about Gorman which has caught my attention but I need to study these guys with a measured eye before deciding if this is value
I really like the progress shown by Dubois- he has the edge in the power and has shown he’s got the killer edge and prepared to trade. I expect Gorman to have a solid chin though; so tentatively, I’m picking Dubois on points.
I think they both take too many, but Dubois hits harder and has proven resilience. Dubois by KO after a real back and forward scrap.
Such a hard fight to call..I really like both fighters. I think Gorman will be up on the cards but then get ktfo in rounds 7-10. Cant wait for this!!!!!
Gorman wins this. I think he might just stop him, too. Whilst it was exciting watching Dubois recklessly trade with Lartey, I think it showed his naivety and inexperience. Gorman is the more natural boxer for me. He will work for 3 minutes of the round, has more variety and doesn’t look for that big power shot. He will set about dismantling Dubois. Dubois is a superb, powerful finisher but I have a feeling he won’t have a plan B when he has an opponent who’s punching him back and not putting their own chin on a platter.
One of the rare events these days when one looks forward to fight week with a real 50/50 fight to get excited about.
