Daniel Dubois goes 10 rounds for the first time against a very disappointing Johnson who merely came to survive and nothing more! Dubois showed very good stamina and a high heavyweight work rate throughout the fight. It was a good learning fight for Dubois in only his 9th professional bout but if I never see Kevin Johnson in the ring again I won’t be bothered. Scorecard 100 - 91 to Dubois
Better getting ten in now then later when you feel you should knockout a relevant fighter bc not being sure about rounds experience ,Mike Tyson did the same thing with Tillis by not pressing or forcing a knock out.
Damn it. And I actually thought the mythical sparring session with the bodybuilder Joshua actually happened. How could I got it so wrong? Dubois power is on Usyk's level. Better lie low for a while, still got the incredible Juggernaut Joe Joyce train still going strong. I bet Frank's devastated tonight with that performance.
I thought Johnson was tying to make him punch himself out and would come on in the second half of the fight. However, he just turned up to make it to the final bell and stink the joint out. Can't blame Dubois for not being able to get him out of there as Johnson is very adept at defending himself and tough enough to take whatever gets through the gaps.
Why would he lie low? Ok he didnt knock him out but he went 10 rounds and dominated from start to finish. He shown he can go the rounds, he still learning and he is just a contender at this point. The man is doing well...on to the next one.
Spoiler. The fight sucked like most fights Johnson is involved in, but it still was miles better than the complete stinker of a main event. Which is tied with Askin/Okolie for worst fight of the year.

I meant myself. I bought into this Frank Warren hype, and I'm feeling a little embarrassed. It's early days yet. But Dubios couldn't even drop Kingpin, and he landed a **** load of combinations. Just wanted somebody to challenge the bodybuilder Joshua, and put a stop to his pompous reign.
