He's already had limited time with Salas as he's been flying back to US to coach his other fighters. Now he won't be there to advise him on the night.
A blow for Joe. They’ve appeared very close in camp so I think Joe will have to deal with this very quickly (mentally). Obviously, the training is done and the game plan drilled but he’ll miss having the architect of that plan in the corner.
Those are two very different things. I don't think it's a stretch to say Joyce is capable of challenging those guys - after all, the likes of Takam, Molina, Brezeale and Wallin have. Dismantling them is a whole different argument entirely and not one I think the original poster was actually making.
Fortunately not, I’m only 6ft and of no use to Joe for facing Dubois. He has been moving about with Martin Bakole, Fabio Wardley, Johnny Fisher and Dacres Solomon to name a few.
That's a shame to hear, but very glad to hear it isn't either fighter that has tested positive and therefore still goes ahead. Speedy recovery to Salas
Seems it's Steven Broughton. I'm not familiar, I'm sure many more clued up here will be as seems the #2 to Shane mcguigan previously and Salas currently
Is there someone who could come in at a very late stage or would it just confuse things to have a new voice in the corner? It seems such a massive disadvantage. I already had Joe as an underdog, but one with a real chance if he could execute the right gameplan. Now I'm wondering if that's even possible?
Ok, it's Friday, I said a while ago I'd wait until the week of the fight before a prediction. I wanted to see a few things.. I'm all in on JOYCE. So yeah, I'm picking Joyce, I'm thinking Joyce mid to late stoppage but I am not ruling out a Joyce decision.
