I believe Joyce could be a huge problem for anyone not named Joshua bc you have to pick this guy apart......and do so intelligently. DD is two years away from that spot.
I expect Dubois to be better down the line....but he's not a juggernaut yet. I think it's a great and stacked division .... It's going to get crazy , I have to do a thread on it just for myself.
Dubois EASILY!!! He is an absolute monster. He could stop Joshua right now... He's KO'd Joshua in sparring ..
Both guys are. But as it stands Joyce has proven himself to be a solid top 20 operator. Dubois hasn't done enough to be considered a top 100 guy.
I'm a big fan of Dubois, but more so because of his potential, rather than his current state. Right now, Joyce almost certainly should take it, but I think that could definitely change in a year or two. I do very much look forward to seeing how Dubois handles Tom Little. If Dubois looks good there, my opinion of Dubois' current state would shoot a lot higher.
Joyce now, no doubt. It's hard to see what Dubois' ceiling would be given his level of comp and he has like a decade or something stupid to really hit his prime, so even if he loses in the next 3-4 years to someone not great, it doesn't matter too much.
Definitely Joyce on what I've seen of them both at the moment. Dubois may have the higher ceiling when his apprenticeship is served, but last time out he looked quite short on ideas. Seems a little harsh? He's very raw but at 20 you'd surely expect that for a HW?
