I don't see how Parker is overrated. He's done some good work as of late and is deserving of a shot. As far as public opinion goes, I don't see many 'fanboys' screaming for Parker, unlike some other HWs out there. The fight itself presents a really cool matchup, it would be very interesting to see them together in the ring. If Dubois is the type that instantly becomes a 25% greater fight upon winning the title, then I would expect him to win.
I don't see this happening next I think Big Frank is looking for a softer touch for Dubois after the AJ rematch fell through. J-Park deserve a shot but it's a risky fight for Dubois. I suspect we might see Dubois vs Vianello, Huni, Ajagba, Wallin, maybe even Chisora, or one of the fighters to feature in the IBF's top 15 rankings when they update them. There's only 13 at the moment
Unfortunately I think your spot on and its a shame but I expect this from Warren...protect his new golden goose
Well that's depressing. Probably too much to expect with warren involved, but wishful thinking would be: Dubois v Parker with Kabayel v Bakole as chief support. IBF mandating the winners to face next
I suspected this would be the case and then I watched a couple of Big Frank interviews and it looks decidedly like he has no interest in the J-Park fight next for Dubois. I was surprised when I heard talk about the possibility of Dubois vs Fabio even though I do consider that a softer albeit still dangerous touch him due to Fabio's inexperience and not having fought anyone world level yet. But that was more due to the fact Big Frank promotes them both. There's no way he's sticking Dubois in with Kabayal or Bakole next if they don't face each other AJ has turned down the rematch Big Bang is far too risky and dangerous too and it looks he wants the J-Park rematch next Hrgovic lost to Dubois last time out DSanchez is coming off a stoppage loss to Kabayel Anderson the same to Bakole So that just leaves the other top 15 IBF contenders I mentioned albeit, as said, there are two vacant spots to fill
That would be great. Dubois vs J-Park or Dubois vs Kabayel or Bakole would be too In response to being asked about J-Park calling Dubois out, Big Frank said lots of fighters have called Dubois out and that they're looking at a couple of things and one of them is ''quite interesting'' whatever that means
To be fair Dubois has fought Usyk, Miller, Hrgovic and AJ in back to back fights but I'll be surprised if Big Frank doesn't swerve the winner of Kabayel and Bakole even after Dubois' next fight
