Who wins EDIT: Article here https://www.skysports.com/boxing/ne...t-fabio-wardley-in-british-heavyweight-battle
A good fight honestly, unlike Hrgovic, Wardley hits harder and has a punchers chance and is also very fast, anything is possible, but it is realistic to expect that Dubois will win.
I think Wardley has world class power and finishing abilities as well as a world class heart but I definitely think he's chinny and has a weak defense.
It might be worth dropping some money on Wardley. Dubois should win but he was rocked hard by Larena and Wardley is agressive and can bang.
Dubois has been in there with Joyce, Miller, Usyk, Hrgovic, Joshua. Wardley been in there with Shot Molina, Adeleye and Clarke. It's a big step up for Wardley. He is 29, perhaps he should get 1 more experience building fight. As of right now I expect Dubois to take him out.
I see Wardley being a 3/1 underdog, which wouldn't be bad value. Dubois is a glass cannon: quit on jabs from Joyce and Usyk and down 3x in the first round against average cruiser Lerena, looked on the verge of quitting again. Wardley would be the biggest puncher Dubois has faced outside Joshua and unlike Joshua Wardley would be letting his hands go early.
I feel like this fight kind of came out of nowhere. Worried it’s a couple fights too soon for Wardley, though I will be rooting for him if it does come off. Wouldn’t there be higher ranked fighters in line for a shot at Dubois though?
