https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/boxing/11550198/frank-warren-dubois-wilder-tyson-fury-trilogy/ I wrote it in a post of some days ago: Dubois is ready to clash with Wilder: he's a top fighter even if he has only 13 fights. Besides: if you punch him, Wilder is over. (Jeff Fenech, former Mike Tyson's trainer)
Dubois didn't look too impressive against that sumo wrestler and he's not getting past Joe Joyce anyway.
I agree Joyce is under sold. Okay, he's not very fast or technical, but he's areal power hitter who can take one if needed and pressures his man. As for Wilder he's a KO waiting to happen. Fury hurt him shockingly easy, so every puncher out there will be gunning to do the same.
He doesnt look impressive because sometimes he's cumbersome. But he has a lot of room for improvement. Very huge potential..
hmmm I will say Dubois but I realize he could fold up against Joe, we will just have to see! great fight, very excited! as far as Wilder and Dubois I dare say DD would have a fair chance to catch Wilder. obviously vice versa as well so no sure thing.
Dubois is way too green to be fighting any of the top 3. He’s also badly in need of rounds. If he manages to beat Joyce they should try him against Povetkin or Chisora, who are both way past their best, but still good enough to challenge him to see if he’s really ready to make the next big step up.
Dubois certainly is naturally more athletic than Wilder. He's fighting a decent opponent (Joyce) early in his career, something the very protected Wilder would never do. I think Dubois has excellent potential.
Can't argue this. But at the same time I can't shake the feeling that he may be hiding a glass chin and will end up being stopped before getting to the big stage. Joyce is definitely a very good opponent for him to be taking this early though and he impressed me against Gorman. We'll see.
dubois has a lot of potential but he's not ready yet anyway I don't think he's going to be as great as some people try to paint
People need to realise that Tyson Fury beating Deontay Wilder does not mean that every other Tom, Dick or Harry will beat him. Tyson Fury is the best boxer going.
