Name a fighter from a 3rd world country who ducked opponents during his career.

It seems to be an American, UK, German, Canada thing. Maybe PR?

Thing is, look at guys like Maidana, GGG, Kovalev, Ruslan, etc.

    They would fight for free.

Uk fighters tend not to duck
Because the media will get on them over it

It's mainly Americans who are cowards
And I don't just mean in Iraq
    In boxing too

I'm guessing you were with us downrange then? Know our morale level from personal experience? Or are you implying you're a badass enemy combatant?

Russians and Mexicans have the same promoters as Americans, so it ain't the promoters.

On the way up, sure. That was the old knock about Chavez Sr. But once they get a title, you don't see these guy whining and gripping about the split, ring size, venue, etc.

These guys are fighters first, boxers second. And a fighter always welcomes a challenge. The Americans like DLH and Hagler don't come around often anymore.

Yeah I don't know why those cowards saved the Phils from the Japanese. Stop with the nationalistic BS already. Go ahead and make fun of Mayweather, that I expect from a boxing forum. Its all in fun. But when you try to act like your country is somehow superior, go F yourself. You *******s do this time and time again. Look who came to the aid in the typhoon, the USA was first and the largest aid AGAIN. Ungrateful *******.

    True. No doubt.

Just there seems to be generalizations based on culture.

But there are/were a lot of UK fighters that would have made great fights if they left there homeland to fight.

Americans do have a tendency to chart out their careers in order to maximize their earnings because they understand the business side of boxing and they are aware of all to many fighters who have wound up broken and broke after a long career. However, Americans will fight whoever is in their way up the success ladder. Those third world guys don't quite grasp that and they get used in ways that they shouldn't. Look at your boy Pac. By the way, I don't think any of those gents will fight for free. They came here to get paid.

    'My boy' Pac?

I'm no a fan of him or Floyd.

Floyd will do whatever preserves his rep and makes him the most $. Pac does what Arum tell him to do.

I'm American, but I admire Mexican fighters.
