Davis just admitted he wants no part of Loma, has no plans to fight anyone with a pulse , and needs more time to “stretch”.

Lomo should tell tank i will pay you 10 times your highest payday but dont worry about what im making
If you dont sign its a duck
Let floyd or al pay him the same not to fight him
But years later when they want that aging scalp just replay the tapes and tell them good money was offered you declined i moved on
Now hows the middle finger for you i go down in boxing folk lore
You're just a mere flash in the pan that hsd his chance and shyed away
    Unwilling to test ones self

Devin Haney is 4 years younger than him, and yet he’s the one calling out Davis, while Broner 2.0 is probably getting ready to face featherweight Leo Santa Cruz next year.

It's acceptable if he says he doesn't want Loma for now. If you essentially admit you're not ready for a fight, it is what it is.

That doesn't excuse him for not fighting better opposition at lightweight, which is heating up now, for his next fight. Want to wait on Loma for a year? Fine. Take him and Lopez out of the equation, and there's still Haney, Garcia, Campbell, and Berchelt (who also needs a big fight and could just as well move to 135).

The showcase fight vs Gamboa didn't go as planned, but he can redeem himself quick if he takes on a good fighter next and performs well. Boxing fans have a short memory, and you're only as good as your last fight.

I hope Tank’s balls drop and he agrees to fight Loma. He will quit on his stool and will never be the same. Tank lacks the mental toughness and ring IQ to beat an elite fighter like Loma. Don’t take my word for it, look at the bums be faces on a regular basis. Wait until his next opponent is announced. It will either be a smaller guy moving up or a washed up bum like Gamboa. Tank is a protected fighter and his last performance exposed him for what he is.

We will see how Loma does against Teo. I think Loma will win but it’s a great fight and Teo is a great young talent and a much bigger guy. Like Haney, he wants to fight the best. Can’t say the same for Tank, it’s not even close.
