What are your thoughts on Pacquiao's catchweights and attempts to drain Mosley and Canelo?

pacquiao has fought in 8 weight divisions unlike mayweather who started fighting catchweights in his 4th division against bloated lightweights. this really isn't a logical comparison.

They fought in the same weight classes, THE SAME EXACT WEIGHT CLASSES. 106 to 154. Pacquiao turned pro at a 16 I think, weighing 106. Floyd weighed 106 at 16 also but turned pro at 18 or 19, by then he weighed 130.

Fact is, Pacquiao has used catchweights to his advantage, not to even the odds. Same for Floyd. Both deserve criticism for it.

no they didn't fight in the same weight classes as professionals, fact. when pacquiao was 21 years old he was weighing in at 113lbs and made incremental steps up to 130, unlike floyd who came into the pro ranks at 130lbs in his teens.

just because a fighter has used to catchweights to his advantage doesn't mean they should be criticized. floyd should get all the hell he deserves though, because he is a proven hypocrite in regards to catchweights.

 

It's all negotiations. They can not agree to it.

So what's your thought with Floyd saying "catchweight fights don't count" and yet he has fought in several catchweight fights and will fight maidana on another catchweight?

 

The judges wanted to take a crap while Pac was watching the NBA finals against Bradley. How is this gossip even relevant? Floyd DID NOT fight at Canelo at 147. FACT!
