Duddy showed some good improvements last night but although he has a big heart he does not have the punch to tangle with the main men at 160.
I'm not talking knocking them spark out but having enough zip to deter them from walking through him.
However i think a John Duddy at 154 stands a much better chance and could win one of those belts within the year.
He would be too busy and aggresive for most of the light middle champs at the moment

He can definitely be more effective at the lower weight. There isn't much at 160 though after Pavlik and AA.154 is a more open division and i think Duddy has way more chance of picking up a belt there

I agree. Duddy is very limited and lacking significant power at 160 so he would be better off at 154.

Might be a better route to go to a title. Pavlik impressed last night.

154 is a better option if he can make the weight...because both Pavlik and Abraham have too much power for him...and Sturm could jab his way to a decision over him...even a guy like Tarvis Simms would be too much for Duddy...who has Duddy beat to prepare for Pavlik anyway? he still hasn't fought anybody to note...
