Duddy in that fight reminded me of Homer in the episode of the Simpsons where he takes up boxing with the plan to get to the top through letting his opponents punch themsleves out on his noggin
Obviously the credit goes to Smichet's team for spotting a major flaw in Duddy's defence and knowing that Smichet, being able to take a punch to land one, was the kind of fighter that could take advantage of that. Duddy is a sucker for the overhand right, especially at mid-range a very fixable flaw

Anybody that watches this video,must admire Duddy for his honesty.John knows he messed big-style in that fight, and I hope he can come back a better fighter, and make Ireland proud.
