Duddy to fight on Wlad vs Sultan card on HBO!!

    Some say it will be Matt Vanda 37-5 with 21 KO's that Duddy will fight, some say it's TBA. HBO might want a better opponent then Vanda for it's air time so we might Duddy in with a top ten guy. Plus I have heard Andy Lee is Gonna fight Eastman on that card WOW! what a card!:good

    Where did you get your info mate, as Duddy has a scheduled contest at Madisons Square Garden Theatre on the 15th of March. Surely these two fight dates are a bit too close togather for Duddy

    Ardybo - i think Vincent is correct.Both Duddy and Lee are slated to fight Feb 23rd at the garden on the Wlad/Ibragimov undercard:good

    I'd be surprised if Duddy could beat Kofi jantuah. What the hell, Matt vanda? That's not my idea of a step up fight for showcase on HBO.

    I read it on boxing talk and also it's on the boxrec web site:deal I hope Lee's fight with Eastman is on HBO also but it might not be, sence they will have replay of Pavlik vs Taylor II on that night also:bbb

    He is already in line to face Pavlik in the summer.This is just a stay busy fight against a guy he can KTFO:deal

    Well, Iceman that leaves 3 weeks between fights for Duddy. Can you see Duddy risking his big March 15th headliner payday for a fight on the undercard of another promotion, and a fight HBO want to be against a contender. ONE OF THE DATES WILL HAVE TO GIVE.

    With a title shot in June at the Garden vs Pavlik I can't see them taking a chance and putting Duddy in with a real top guy at this point, a good club fighter like Vanda seems about right for Duddy to fight:hat

    I have seen Kofi fight. He was a decent fighter at welterweight. As a middle Duddy will KO him easy.

    So that means Duddy will be Pavlik's tuneup after taylor gets knocked out in the rematch?

    I guess Pavlik deserves a gimmie fight after he annhiliates taylor again. Duddy is perfect for a target practice.

    Pavlik/Duddy would be a massacre and duddy would be on the floor bleeding like a 1-dimensional virgin.

    Pavlik has a glass chin, Duddy hasn't. Each are easy to hit,each can punch. My money is on Duddy to Ko Pavlik in 5 hard fought rounds.

    are you joking? Pavlik took several flush shots from Taylor before going down (having stupidly dropped his hands in a show of bravado) he also walked through all of heavy hitter, Edison Miranda s punches. he DOES NOT have a glass chin.

    Duddy s defence (or lack thereof) would be his downfall in a fight with Pavlik, though it would be a terrific war and one which I would definitely fork out money to hop accross to pond to go see should it happen :good

    This is too close to the St. Paddy's date. He is a cash cow for that date and venue. Why would they risk it? Unless hbo wants it to promote a future Duddy Pavlik fight.

    Taylor cant punch, nether can old Branco McKart,yet both had the ghost over. Miranda wobbled him down to his boots. Goldenboy trust me Pavlik is a knockout waiting to happen and Duddy will be one to do it
