Duddy v Chavez Jr is going to be an awesome fight!

no doubt that duddy is c- but chavez is barely a c himself. chavez has gotten spanked to or at the very least taken to the brink by a guy who squeegeed my car at a stoplight once and another who sold me weed outside a denny's. chavez is ****. duddy is just marginally worse

 

Looking forward to it. Chavez takes this one. Duddy is cast specifically for him.

 

They are both B level fighters with Duddy having the edge in experience. He might fight in spurts of his old self when he was a Celtic destroyer and keep Chavez, Jr humble at times, but I think Duddy picked a fight with the younger, hungrier fighter at the worst time. Jr is being trained by the best, Freddie Cucaracha, and he has a habit of bringing the best out of any fighter. I think to Duddy's favor the time Jr has spent with Roach is not enough time, Jr hasn't spent enough time with Roach to ingrain some skills and make them 2nd nature to him. It will be interesting if Duddy lures Jr into a war, and makes Jr forget all the skills and go toe to toe. I don't think Jr is the body puncher he thinks he is, but when he goes upstairs with the left hook he is even more effective. Judging from their last fights, in which they both looked horrible, I'll give the edge to Jr. He's younger, hungrier, and we've seen the best of Duddy, I'm not a Jr. fan yet, but I'm hoping to see the best of Jr and from the training camps Jr. looks sharper than in the past. All the babying just had to stop and Roach was the best choice for Jr. Chavez, Jr by decision or TKO

 

Man Chavez is going to get a beating in this fight. Its really too bad he's having a make wieght camp and hasn't had time for a proper training camp with Freddy.

Fingers crossed John takes him. It seems most people believe the only way Duddy can win is by dragging Jr. into a war, that may well be the case. I just hope John's skin can hold out.

P.S. Is the fight being shown in the uk or Ireland? What' the GMT times for first bell?

The tissue around johns eyes are exactly like...tissue...he bleeds over time.

Fights every fight like a war.. its almost 50/50 with chav having roach and ariza.
