Is Baby Chavez sliding backwards? That guy Rowland was pushing him around in there at times? Duddy isn't exactly Pavlik, but one thing he has is heart and a strong punch and at 160, I hope they make this fight. It is interesting. Two guys with big ethnic fan bases but neither guy has a big win and both are considred somewhat over blown. I favor Duddy at this point, tentatively.

I was thinking about this when I heard about it during the fight. It's actually a really good matchup.

Two mediocre middleweights with a decent punch and pretty good boxing skills. They have pretty similar styles, it could turn into a firefight.

I'd take Duddy though tbh. He's been at that weight his whole career, Chavez is coming up in weight, and I honestly have no idea how good Chavez even is since he won't fight anybody, but he sure as hell didn't impress me on Satuday against that can he was fighting.

Duddy. Chavez has no interest in a defence whatsoever. Duddy has very little interest, but at least he tries lol

I am not sure Chavez is not the real deal. He does seem to be an ok fighter, and with the caliber of guys winning titles these days he could win one.

well the only excuse left is that he is learning on the job with no amateur career and that is a fair excuse, but at this rate it will be five years before he takes the mighty step up to Class C fighters

duddy i would say after chaves jr performance the other night

it could be a good match up , both fairly similar and both have leaky defences

Chavez is like an unskilled labourer, learning on the job.Duddy is nothing if not tough, something that will beat Chavez's lack of skills.A good natural fight between two under performing middles, but a fun fight to watch.
