    It's Barker.

Good undercard fight, certainly. Pretty much a toss-up, the sort of fight we want to see. Barker is the more polished boxer puncher, but he's been vulnerable in the past, on the deck a few times. Duddy has the toughness on his side.

    Skills vs. toughness.

Barker would stand Duddy on his head.

I didn't even think Taylor/Froch was signed yet. No official word. Damned, quick turn around, but that might make Pav/Abrahm closer if you read this.

I like the idea of Duddy fighting often but really think the Vanda fight is gonna be a tough one in which Duddy might cut,:-( a fight with Darren Baker in April seems to soon for Duddy to get back into the ring:verysad Plus if Duddy looks good vs Vanda we just might see Pavlik vs Duddy in June:happy

People actually want to see Duddy receive a savage beating from Pavlik?

I mean..... Pavlik was getting criminally overrated on this forum about 6/7 months ago.... but he still has far too much for Duddy.

You may as well stick Amir Khan in with Manny Pacquiao on the co-feature.

Good news, Froch Taylor will be a good fight.
John Duddy is doing the right thing, after the disaster with Irish Ropes i could see him fighting maybe 4 or 5 times this year to get back in contention for a Title shot.

I like Barker. I think he's by far Britain's best middleweight at the moment, he'd beat any of Wayne Elcock, Steve Bendall etc, but Duddy is criminally under-rated on this board. If he wants to box, he can, trouble is he's a bit like Calzaghe in getting drawn into a fight, and why not, the guy has a great chin.

I'd agree with that - he has been for probably the past two years.

The only middle that would give him a good contest is Macklin.

He would school the likes of Lockett, Elcock, Bendall and Smith something silly.

Duddy doesn't get credit for gathering his composure and out boxing Smitchet down the stretch. Most people seem to think this fight ended after a few rounds. Personally, I think he passed a huge test that night.
