Which means there's a negative 3% chance he'll actually fight on the Taylor card. He'll still be on medical suspension due to cuts.

Sounds Bitchin' to me! Great show, I'd say. I have to admire Carl Froch for coming to USA and fighting J. Taylor in the Garden for his FIRST title defense. Hard not to admire that.

BUT, you know TFFP, JT is my boy...lol. Look forward to these good fights, and esp. in the main, may the best man win.:yep

I need to do some home work on Barker. Any thoughts or stories to tell? What's his style? Stuff like that?

I've seen a good bit of Duddy, I assume he's still working with Pat Burns? I expect Duddy to improve a good bit working with Mr. Burns.:yep

Thoughts or stories? He's been floored a few times against nobodies.

Other than that he was a very good amateur. Still boxes kinda amateurish, not much inside game, but as an outboxer he shows class. Not great power, but okay.

I think Duddy would out-tough him personally, but if he performed anything like he did against Smichet, maybe not. To me its not a fight I'd put Duddy in if he was scheduled to meet Pavlik. It's not a banker.

Maybe it is Arum's idea to see if he is good enough?

I think its probably Barker's promoters idea as he has the same promoter as Froch. Doubt Arum has even heard of the kid.

They probably saw how **** he looked against Smichet and saw an opportunity with Duddy's popularity to take advantage. Barker already fought in Canada recently so I guess they are looking to get him out there against tougher opposition than he faced so far.

Duddys still with Burns Hes been enjoying working with Pat so I hope he sticks with him

Barkers last opponent Jason McKay (20-3) fought Andy Lee in 2007 and RTD6

    He also RTD6 against Barker

****. Darren Barker might end up fighting for a World title then, if they're grooming Duddy to fight Pavlik, Barker will ruin it.

I don't give Duddy half a chance of beating Barker, who is better in every way except chin (has seemed a wee bit vulnerable in the past) For my money Duddy doesn't have the power to stop Barker anyways, who has proven himself to a tough, well-schooled boxer puncher at domestic level.

And will give a better account of himself against Pavlik then Lockett did and against Abraham then Elcock did (although Wayne at least tried to fight, unlike Lockett)

At this point, they both beat Barker though IMO.
