    why, o why o why????
this is another backwards step from irish ropes.
although at the rate he's going he'll probably get in two more fights before summer, whats the point if they are against **** opponents.i know they want to protect him until the pavlik/taylor fight but it's just creating less and less interest in him!

I love Duddy and go to all his fights in Ny, but he needs to fight some better opposition. I cant imagine they are going to risk te St. Paddy's tradition in Ny for a fight in February. Green Gloves dont you think his fights have also become less exciting. Have him fight Sergio Mora St. Paddy's day weekend in Ny and broadcast it on espn. He was going to fight Vanda last year on St. Paddy's but Bonsante beat him so why the hell is he fighting him a year later?

yep they most certainly are fightin on feb 2nd on the main undercard of the samuel peter heavyweight title fight, with atlantic city/vegas and newark the possibilities.
yep hop they dont ruin the st paddys tradition, but his fights just aint what they used to be,who cares if hes not the best boxer in the world he can make a ridiculously exciting fight but obviously don turner and irish ropes want something else.they need to stick him in with a real top 20 mw who he has a chance of knocking out!!!!!!that would definatly bring back alot of fans and set up a huge fight in the garden for the summer!
maybe that is what they are doing with vanda, but he's hardly top 20!

i think everybody (especially his management) know that duddy is just a limited slugger............but with a big earning potential!!!

so they try to milk him for as long as they can thats all.

everyone knows he aint seriously going anywhere....

Duddy looked good last night and there aren't many top notch middleweights out there - Taylor will probably go to SM if Pavlik beats him again leaving us with only Pavlik and AA as the elite middleweights - the rest you can throw in a hat

I think Irish Ropes is holding out to see if Turner can sharpen Duddy up. Ya know, stay busy and keep working on the things Turner is preaching.
