98-92 was generous to Duddy. I had him by a round.

Pavlik would murder him. Duddy is not and will never be world class.

 

That's big money for Pavlik. Duddy has a huge fanbase, Duddy hits hard and has exciting fights.

Pavlik would make a killing by killing Duddy.

 

Pavlik KO Duddy in 3 rounds.

 

Pavlik would seriously hurt Duddy. Just a brutal mismatch (but a good stay-busy fight for Pavlik)...

 

There is a high possibility that Pavlik will easily beat Duddy.

 

I would've thought his chin was made out of some naturally magnetized material the way Walid landed on him. I wonder if its an Irish thing. Ya know, its not a fight unless I'm getting hit too, kinda thing. He doesn't move his head, he doesn't keep his hands up, and he stays right in front of his opponent in punching range. He is one tough dude though.

 

Pavlik will destroy him. And how do you come to the conclusion that Duddy has a titanium chin when he hasn't really faced a big big puncher???

Seen those shots Duddy was taking tonight im very sure Pavlik ends his career Gatti-Gamache style in 2 rounds.

 

Duddy wont make it to the 5th round. Pavlik will jab him to death and the right hand will put him to sleep.

 

Duddy is 5' 11" with 74" of reach. A guy with those dimensions would have to do certain things extremely well in order to beat Pavlik.

1) He'd have to slip the jab effectively and consistently.

2) He'd have to consistently block the lead right.

3) He would have to be able to close the gap and move inside after slipping the jab, and, or blocking the lead right.

4) Once inside he would have to be able to hit Pavlik hard enough and enough times to keep Kelly from tying him up, or just physically mauling him.

5) He would have to be strong enough that once he was inside he could force Pavlik to back up, or else he would have to be fast enough to get in, flurry, and get out, without getting the **** beat out of him in the process.

I just can't imagine John Duddy being fast enough, skilled enough, and strong enough to force Pavlik to fight him on the inside, and he sure as hell ain't gonna beat Pavlik on the outside! In my opinion Duddy's best opponents would not last 4 rounds with Kelly Pavlik. On the other hand, Kelly's best opponents would beat Duddy.
