This guy has a nice site with many good fights, but I think the gem is this Duilio Loi documentary (in Italian). There are short clips of many fights not identified, but the opponents identified include:

    Seraphin Ferrer
    Glen Flanagan
    Carlos Ortiz
    Eddie Perkins

There are brief highlights of all the fights with Ortiz and Perkins. Probably about 2 minutes total each. There is clean footage of Loi knocking down Ortiz in the 3rd fight.

p.s. I could be wrong, but I think the Jazz music in the beginning is the same music used in "The Cable Guy" when Jim Carey pummels Owen Wilson in the bathroom.

I just know the curse words my older relatives used to drop, so i can tell you there aren't any in this, lol.
This is the most footage I've seen of Loi and I see why he's rated so highly.

Duillio Loi most likely was Italy's greatest fighter. Watching these clips, he reminds me of a mixture of Henry Armstrong and Marcel Cerdan in his aggressive style.
A dream fight for me would be Duillio Loi against Beau Jack. Two bulls colliding !!!..

Bump. A couple of interesting things:

    1) Loi is listed as a southpaw, and from the scarce footage I'd seen prior to viewing this documentary I'd assumed he must've been a switch hitter given the fact that none of it seemed to show him fighting southpaw. However, this is a far greater deal of footage, and at no point in any of it does he even for an instant go southpaw. Any info on this?

    2) Ortiz also clearly knocked Loi down in the footage, yet the ref didn't seem to call it as such. Suspect.

I think he looks quite beastly. It's a wonder he didn't have many more KO's. His right hand looks dynamite.

This article is a major culprit in that misconception:

    http://cyberboxingzone.com/boxing/loi2.htm

That he was not a southpaw adds to his luster I think, as it subtracts what many earlier believed to be a key advantage of his.
