Easily one of the greatest fights ever fought. Transcendent. Kim is a legend who put it all on the line.
Kim was a fantastic body puncher in that fight. I was young when I watched that one live and was a pretty big Mancini fan at the time since he was a midwest guy. It's funny how as an adult I focus more on Kim when I watch that fight since it's pretty much the only fight on film of his that exists. You don't typically see a lot of southpaw fighters that are great body punchers for some reason. Vassily Jirov is the first guy that comes to mind. He also fought with same mentality as Kim.
RIP. He went out on his shield, with honor, which is what I’m sure he would have wanted if he had to go.
