I saw that movie in Austin in 1970. I was amazed then how Cus in his "Frazier" style, moved right on in on Ali. Foreboding for the FOTC, and probably what would have happened in a Tyson fight.
yeah moved in on a 3 years outta the ring ali - i think Cus knew the reality of the situation and ali put on the act saying it would be easy for him v frazier - "frazier's not that quick" yeah right lol. strange that quarry would fight frazier in that fashion.
Would you also use post-prison Tyson as an example of what would have happened in an Ali-Tyson fight? How do you think the Tyson vs Mathis and Holy would have done against 1967 Ali?
It truly is something that the same people who use the Frazier fights as a reference as to how an Ali-Tyson fight would pan out, object to Douglas being used as a reference since "Tyson was past it then". It's just amazing that someone who considers himself a fan of boxing can say such stupidities.
amazing how much old cus moved liked tyson would years later...he moved in on ali exactly like young tyson moved in on opponents
