Wise move, it made Cotto do what Cotto didn't want to do, that is to brawl.

 

had he not allowed cotto some free punches, Pac would have looked Godly lol. he looked damn good against elite opponents the way Roy jones Jr. and PBF looked good against journeymen and c-class opponents

 

That was some serious bodypunches you can see Pac's body moving from the force of those shots.

pac was supposed to drop in agony after tasting "real WW power" like he just did. psycologically cotto must of been like "WTF" which was pretty much what manny wanted.

I sure do,specially leading up to the Hatton fight some knuckleheads sayng that he had a glass body based on what happened ten years ago when Pac was skinny kid and that Hatton would stop him with a brutal bodyshot,the rest is history.

 

Not really that dumb,a little dumb yes but it also allowed him to brace for them rather then not brace and have them do way more damage and it also allowed him to mentally mess with Miguel.So i say dumb but ballsy!!

 

Damn all Cotto needed to do was throw the uppercut straight up the middle, it cud have been lights out!

Pac wanted to see Cottos power and knew that he could take more to the body due to conditioning than his head. So he did it to effect Cotto psychologically.

Cotto threw some solid left hooks
to Pacs head that made Pac pull up his guard. Wonder if Pacs hearing is alright in the right ear?
