Exactly I thought it was a good move b/c he let Cotto know that he could take any of his shots so after that Cotto's confidence was gone.

I don't think you can say it's anything but a wise move considering the knockdown he landed soon after. Everyone watching thought that the momentum was swinging in Cotto's favour, where he was just testing his power.

After this Cotto kept moving forward, thinking he had Pac under pressure. He walked right onto a beautiful punch that sent him to the canvas. I bet Roach wasn't best pleased with his tactics though.

Great move by Pac,bad move by Cotto for not taking full advantage and being unsure of himself..

I read somewhere Pac wanted to give Cotto a false sense of confidence. 20 seconds later after this sequence, Cotto hit the floor for the 2nd time.

Im not going to lie I thought I needed my eyes tested after this fight.

Pacquiao letting Cotto unleash furious body shots for free?

    And actually taking them.

****, Pacquiao gets me everytime. :nut

What if Pacquiao was getting Cotto to stop boxing him and letting him gain confidence to brawl more openly...

that surely played in Pacman's favor. When Cotto started moving forward like that, Pacman knew an opening would be there to counter effectively with power, sooner than later..

I say Pacquiao wanted to make sure Cotto wasn't gonna continue fighting him from the outside with his crisp and precise jab. He just took him off his game plan and that was the trap...

Surprizing I know...but let's not forget the guy has been sparring with really big powerful guys for a couple fights now...

I'm sure he had the confidence to take a few of those shots in order to make Cotto want to brawl which led him into the trap of being countered and eventually floored for it..

Very dumb move for Cotto not to follow up those body shots with a straight right thru the gloves and a hook to the head. He just stopped punching.

Smart , because he moves his elbows down to protect himself.. Cotto on the other hand tried to KO Pac and only to gas out and not have nothing left going down the stretch.. I read some where this was planed by pac and his camp.

He did, I think rd 3 snapped ...Pac's head back.Left hook to the body, left uppercut straight up the middle, right straight down the middle and a left hook to the ear.
