Williams would probably beat him, meaning Arum loses marketability and money on Pacquiao and since Williams isn't a TR fighter he can't make that up. The only reason Arum even allowed Pacquiao to fight Hatton was because Hatton was on a downward slide and this would help market Pacquiao in the UK. And the reason he allowed him to fight DLH was because DLH was on a downward slide, and that the exposure that DLH would provide would be plenty to cover the cost of a loss.

It seems like Floyd is going to improve his neg. power if this happens. Manny vs. Margarito would be 65000 to 800000 ppv buys. Mayweather could now take the Cotto fight and do 1.1 to 1.3 mil. It just seem to be favoring Paq. right now as far as big money fights.

He doesn't have to fight at 154. He's already not at his best weight at 147 according to his fans, so why push himself extra? I know you follow boxing, so you should know that Williams was willing to fight pac @ 147.

 

That was almost 2 years ago man when mosley was actually fit to fight. there are plenty of mexican fans that would buy this fight as well as pac fans ppv does easily over 1 mil, probably same as cotto or a bit under. Agree with you though Arum does have a way at pissing people off, I just hope floyd and pac fight before either one of them is not in his prime anymore that would be a damn shame.
