    Pacquiao vs Margarito...damn, boxing sucks. I feel like I been punched in the gut. I'll watch though, but, DAMN! Is Mayweather vs Pacquiao too much to ask?

    Do you think it will sell if they lower the price? Maybe they'll go back to the really old days when these PPVs were $39.95. Either way, I won't buy it.

    Here's the only way it sells...
    Retribution for cotto fans(a lot of them)
    Good undercard
    Margarito gets sold as a victim of his cheating trainer trying to get back on the right path.

    So many more fighters deserve the pac pay day more than marg. But it's a punch in the stomach to boxing to pay for this farce.

    It furthers the in house monopoly, it lends credibility to a cheater and it's not even a close fight.

    This **** is a farce.

    Boxing fans should be ashamed they are willing to pay 60 bucks for this.

    I would laugh my f*cking ass off if Margarito won. It would **** off so many people here on ESB and in boxing. Plus it would turn the whole sport upside down, which is what it needs.

    Think logically, Luke. This fight will be benefited from a large promotion that surely will include a 24/7. Margarito's transgression will inevitably be a point of emphasis during the build up and will only further highlight his villain characterization amongst the casuals. He already has a built in fan base being a Mexican fighter ~ and Pac being the 'Mexican Assassin' ~ will only fuel the promotion amongst the Mexican and Filipino heritages.

    Again, I couldn't disapprove more with Margarito being the choice for Pac, but I also can't discount the fight's PPV potential which, imo, will be a shoe in to generate numbers north of 1 million buys.
