    Hindsight is always 20/20
Before the fight it's hard to make those calls, especially if betting real money

Same her, i had people telling me that McGregor would batter Floyd. When i tried to explain to them that it was under boxing rules etc they could not grasp the difference...

The odds were fair. Joshua probably beats Ruiz 19 times out of 20.

Cant completely remember the odds but i missed my bet three times last year for the same reason of forgetting my log in details at the last second plus the deposit rules changing since the last time i had been on,

Jermell Charlo vs Harrison 2 & Jermall vs Montiel being two that come to mind where it was obvious at least to me about the result,

But the one that really hurts was Keith Thurman vs Barrios, oh man talk about a loss, free money to be made that night, still pissed about it :(:(

I've also realized bookies are getting worse especially in Boxing, seriously i don't remember a time when they were so off with so many fighters, goes to show perhaps they are also burned out & have switched their attention towards other sports.

In recent memory Bivol-Canelo had great odds. I recall I made a good amount of money on Kovalev-Eleider Alvarez I.
I was sure for that fight Alvarez had the speed and power to get Kovalev. I made a few hundreds on that fight. But then I give credit to Kovalev despite being past his prime he came back and had 2-3 good fights one of them was a win in his rematch for Kovalev-Alvarez II. You win some you lose some.

I had a coworker wanting to bet me, and others at work $100 each that McGregor would beat Floyd. Had to pull him aside and tell him something like, "Dude, stop". His reasoning was that Floyd had never scored a knockout, which showed how little he followed. I told him it was a Hall of Famer against a guy making his Pro Debut, and that Floyd actually had 26 KOs on his record. He'd already bought into the Conor hype though, and ended up dropping a few hundred on that one...

Exactly. My mma loving coworker said Conor is good at striking along with floyds low ko and the weight difference.
They couldnt grasp the tought that no boxer, especially an atg is losing to a kickboxer or mma fighter with boxing rules.

If Fury fought Rico Verhoeve ln it would be similair easy ko.
And casuals would happily bet on verhoeven cause he is in shape compared to Fury.

I give Conor credit for being a good salesman though.

Last big win I had was betting on Bakole to beat Yoka on points at 9/1. Always thought Yoka was overrated and nothing special and Bakole was improving and a better fighter. Was a great fight and a great win for Bakole (and myself lol)

I made a good few on Scott Fitzgerald beating Anthony Fowler. Can't remember the exact odds.
