The poor ******* did'nt know any better, but a poster here going by domngo a few years back did'nt have a clue how a fight is actually scored......when asked who he thought won a particular fight (forget which fight it was) he replied, "I had him winning by split decision."
.......poor guy thought "split decision" meant you yourself were unsure who to give it to, so you made a choice to give it to a specific fighter and call it a split decision.

lol my friend is a boxing fan but he doesn't really follow it like i do. We were talking about some upcoming fights and past fights today and we talk about the gamboa-solis fight and i mention the berto-ortiz fight coming up next week.

He then said he would like to see a gamboa-berto fight:lol:

I was at a restaurant the other day and the table next to me was talking sports and the topic landed on boxing all of a sudden. So, and I don't do this, but I had to hear what they were talking about, so I was listening to what was being said. So anyway, the guy starts saying how if Mayweather was in the same era as Ali, he would have beaten Ali. His reasons were he was faster, quicker, better defense, etc.

So, the other guy starts agreeing with him like a sheep....so I had to politely tell him "sorry for interrupting, but Mayweather and Ali never would have fought because they are no where close to being in the same weight class." Dude gets all defensive saying I didn't know what I was talking about. So, to quickly put an end to the convo and to see if he was full of ****, I asked him, "Did you watch the Segura-Calderon fight...or the Concepcion-Marquez fight." He gave me a blank look and said "no". "Yep, figured as much." End conversation.

After Pacquiao fought and beat MAB, Morales and JMM . . . a desperate hater said . . .

if Finito is still fighting . . . "Finito Lopez would end Pacquiao's career"

. . . a fighter who fought in the minimum weight class up to Light flyweight class would end a featherweight fighter's career?

    :rofl :rofl :rofl

well i was like 10 at the time and i went to this house my mom was visiting, and their were a group of men drinking beer and watching a de la hoya fight and i cant remember againt who but it was like 10 years ago...

and i hear some of the guys, drunk, saying... actually shouting real loud "de la hoya is a natural lefty!!! when he was little he boxed lefty and his dad told him No!! thats the wrong way!! this is the right way!! and moved him to a orthodox stance", lol to me this kind of sounds retarted, theres alot of powerful succesful southpaws and being southpaw gives you an edge againt righties...

look at, hagler, juan manuel lopez, camacho, withaker, pacquiao, i think this was really retarted to say my though now that im an adult is those guys dont know **** about boxing..

but what the hell it might be true although i tried to retrieve this info and couldnt find it anywhere...

does anyone really know if oscar was really a natural lefty??? i know this is stupid to ask but i havn't notice him writing or anything to really tell???????

Hah, thats the equivalent of saying a fighter who in his mid-twenties fighting at superbantamweight, would one day rule and dominate the Welterweight division!:lol::nut:!:

This is like the third time this week I've seen someone spelling ******ed like this...am I missing something?

Not trying to be a dick, but if you're calling someone ******ed...surely you should make sure to spell it correctly...no?
