Here's the thing, If Kovalev had of had just about any other trainer, B Hop might of pulled it off. John David Jackson stressed the fact that Hopkins was just an old man and all Kov had to do was go in there and beat him like the old man he was. Another trainer may not have taken that angle and allowed Hops to mentally manipulate the fight.
