It would be more entertaining than watching Munroe anyway and it would put a lid on all this Dunne/Munroe/Martinez bull****. I am thoroughly convinced that if Dunne fought Martinez again he would not only beat him but do it in a much more convincing fashion than Munroe did.
Thats why i think Dunne should fight Martinez first. If he does the job better than Munroe that adds a lot more fuel to the fire.
Actually if he fought Martinez and did a better job than Munroe it would probably kill the fight. I'm interested to see where Munroe goes next, but he's going to be in for a very sharp rise in the quality of opposition soon and I'll be looking forward to see how he copes. I think someone said recently that Maloney's going to try and get Munroe a WBC eliminator against Simeone Maludrottu(his European mandatory). Maludrottu's 6th with the WBC, Munroe is #2 and Rafael Marquez is #1 having recently won an eliminator. Maludrottu would be the perfect step for Munroe, a rise in class without still stepping up to World level, and his best bet them would be to let Marquez fight Nishioka and Munroe be the mandatory after that. Being mandatory would provide Munroe with his biggest possible purse(a 40% share) when he fights for a title.
ya i think he went back at the start of June. Caballero said he wanted to hurt him for beating cordoba.
