With Setanta rumoured to be showing this what's your thoughts on the fight itself?

Is Dunne really a World level fighter and how good is Cordoba. Your predictions.

    Should be a cracking night.

I want Dunne to win, but feel that Corduba is gonna do a number on him.

It may not last the distance. I've been looking at a lot of Corduba's old fights since this was announced and he looks a level up on Dunne (he's already mixed at a much higher level than Dunne and holds a win over Celestino Caballero; he bangs very well to the body, has a good chin, good movement, and his straight punches come in from distance and land with wicked intent; but he is also a decent infighter who can mix it to the body when in close).

His honey punch appears to be the long southpaw left hand.

Corduba TKO10 Dunne (possibly a cuts stoppage).

Cordoba will KO him just like Martinez did. I really don't understand people that rate Dunne.

Dunne is a very good boxer, but his chin won't hold up against the top guys. I would be fine if he had the power to keep guys off him, but unfortunately with his hand problem he doesn't.

I'm looking at Cordoba mid rounds stoppage.

on the dunne plus side -
he is very skillful, and could on a good night build up a good points lead going into rounds 8-9...
he is very good at finding his range, and has great hand speed.

    the negitive -
the chin...just because kiko sparked him may not mean his has a terrible chin, but the question mark is certainly there...
also, he runs out of steam after rounds 7, 8, 9...so will need to have a good lead built up...

    so..

i think he has a chance, albeit maybe a slim one, of doing this...build up a nice points lead with fast combinations and a good range until rounds 8 or 9...and then try and coast his way home...

    or maybe not..

i'll be there cheering the lad on either way.

Probably because Celestino Caballero is the real WBA champion.

But he's the 'super' champion, this is for the regular belt.
