    Dunne's chin is **** poor. Cordoba papered over the cracks.

    Dunne to lose by KO was my tentative prediction, can't say I'm at all surprised. Dunne is fodder against pressure fighters that can punch. Against other styles he's okay.

    I think move up to feather....it's the only choice left...he can put the poor punch resistance down to that and try rebuild in that division and see if the extra weight is of any benefit. He maybe weight drained....he does look gaunt on scales.

    pundits on there defending his chin. :yep

    he's been down about 6 or 7 times now in his career.

    at least admit his chin ain't the best. :roll:

    instead of that they come out with the 'those punches would have taken out anyone' line. :patsch

    Watching the Sweeney fight (Micky Vann reffing)...who the **** is the old **** commentator, he is absolutely ****ing dire. I will never complain about the Sky team again.

    On 2nd thoughts The Thai Mentalist (as I'm going to refer to him as until I get bored) should fight Nishioka, that's a doable fight and would be an absolute war!

    Ah right, I assumed he'd retired of his own accord and this is the first time I've seen him since then. Top class referee, shame that that's the case.

    Jesus that was painful to watch. I hope Dunne retires now, he has nothing to prove to anyone. He has shown he has guts and heart in spades. I feel so bad for him the way that went down.

    It's too easy to hide behind a pc and call Dunne "glass jawed" or whatever but punch resistance is something you either have or do not have, there's no shame in it whatsover for Dunne. Bernard has been EBU and WBA champion and he has achieved his lifelong dream. That's more than anyone posting smug comments on here will ever do.

    It's not smug, its just an obvious observation. The guy has poor punch resistance at the top level.

    I don't think anyone is being smug, just obvious that his chin isn't very good. Same thing happened when Nicky Cook went down (albeit against a less experienced fighter wihout much pop, so that was probably worse) but coupling Dunne's shaky punch resistance with a brutal Thai Mentalist Puncher (new monikor) is hardly going to see him do well, is it? Fair play to Dunne, at least he took his mandatory even though he was dangerous.

    No point doing what the commentators were doing; 'I didn't SEE a punch' 'what's happened there? Bernard's fine' or whatever it was, the feed was poor.

    Anyway, eerie that whenever he went down the place went silent. He'd try to re-establish the jab and they'd soar again, then....NOTHING.

    Better get used to it incase Khan fights Maidana :deal
